Corporate Poker Nights on the Harbour
An evening cruise out of Fremantle built around a friendly casino floor: learn-to-play tables for beginners, a company tournament for the confident and a branded awards finish.
What this voyage looks like
Corporate nights run three to four hours dockside or on a short coastal loop. We split the floor between teaching tables for first-timers and a seated company tournament with a printed structure. The evening finishes with an awards ceremony that can carry your logo on the trophy, the chips and the winners' board. HR teams like it because nobody is excluded: dealers teach, hosts circulate, and non-players have the deck and the bar.
- Learn-to-play tables run all evening, so guests who have never held cards can still sit in and enjoy the night.
- Branding options cover chips, felt, welcome boards, trophy engraving and the leaderboard screens.
- Formats flex from 20 guests to 300, on short evening loops or longer weekend voyages for offsites.
Everything handled on board
One producer runs your booking from first call to final hand, so the details below arrive as standard rather than extras.
Company tournament
A structured mini-tournament with seat draws, a leaderboard and prizes for the final table.
Teaching dealers
Dealers briefed to host beginners, plus a ten-minute rules primer to open the evening.
Brand package
Your logo on chips and felt, welcome signage at boarding and a branded trophy for the winner.
Event producer
One producer owns the run sheet: boarding, speeches, meal service and the awards finish.
Three ways to run it
Harbour evening
A four-hour twilight loop past Rottnest and back. The most-booked format for teams of 40 to 120.
Dockside casino
The ship stays at the berth and the casino floor runs like a venue hire. Works for tight schedules and mixed arrival times.
Offsite voyage
An overnight format that pairs a day of meetings with an evening tournament and a port brunch.
From gangway to final hand
A typical running order. Your producer tunes the timing to your charter length and the mood you want in the room.
Boarding and primer
Guests board to a welcome drink while the tournament director runs a light rules primer for newcomers.
Tables open
Teaching tables and the company tournament run together. Floor hosts float guests between formats.
Dinner interval
A seated or roving dinner pauses play, timed so the final table resumes as the ship turns for home.
Awards finish
The final table plays out in front of the room, followed by the trophy presentation and a closing toast.
Half our team had never played a hand in their lives and by ten o'clock they were arguing about position at the bar. Easiest event win we have had.
